• UFC 131's Junior Dos Santos opens a -155 favorite over Brock Lesnar
  UFC president Dana White recently named Dos Santos and Lesnar as "The Ultimate Fighter 13" coaches, and they're expected to fight in a No. 1 contender's bout at UFC 131. As MMAjunkie.com first reported earlier this week, UFC 131 is expected to take place June 11 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver.
  
  
• Guess Who's Coming Back to Town? UFC 131 Expected in June
  Somebody tell the BCMA to prepare their picket signs and start their letter-writing campaign because the UFC is planning on coming back to Vancouver this summer. This is tremendous news - well, to those of us who love MMA - as it not only proves that the UFC holds no grudges stemming from the collection of hurdles they had to jump in advance of last year's debut event, but also that city officials have come to their senses.

  No bouts are rumored for UFC 131, but a source told MMAjunkie.com that former heavyweight title-challenger Shane Carwin could be featured prominently on the card, which would mark his first fight since back surgery. UFC officials are working this week to finalize the show and venue. Vancouver hosted its first event, UFC 115, in June 2010 with a Rich Franklin vs. Chuck Liddell headliner. The event proved a hit and drew nearly 18,000 fans for a $4.2 million gate.
